Updated: A glimpse in to the future of productivity according to Microsoft

I just watched this video from Microsoft Future Vision which showcases concepts of what the future holds for our productivity. It’s full of touch surfaces and some really interesting ideas that would literally transform the way we work today. It’s a really exciting prospect, but not one that I think we will see for a very long time (perhaps my kids will get to work in environments like this), although Microsoft’s Stephen Elop who used this video in his presentation reckons that the technology you see in this video is within reach and we will see it within the next five years.
Why is this video not believable? Because we’ll never get that much space in economy on an aeroplane.
